Eyes In the Sky Satellites are our "eyes in the sky." Pictures of Earth from space have radically altered our perception of our planet, and greatly improved our ability to observe the effects of environmental changes.
NASA will soon launch the Earth Observing System (EOS), a new constellation of satellites which will help scientists understand a great deal more about the interconnected systems which form our global biosphere, and the impact of human activity on the environment.
